Navigation Screen

Ok, I changed the setting on the navigation screen on our 2006 limited so that it would not automatically go dark at night. Now that the wife is driving that car it bothers her and for the life of me I do not remember how or what I did to make it stay in the daylight mode. I have gone through the menu settings and have not found the correct combination – anybody know how to help?

U have to turn that little black knob on the left hand side of ur steering wheel....I think it u turn it all the way to.the right it should be on auto....(bright with sunlight...dark at night) all the way to the left is always bright....then the knob itself is for dimming to ur liking

OK I'll try that - do you know where the light sensor is so that I can do a daytime test by blocking the light source?
