According to the Sylvania bulb selector, my OEM high beams then are 9005's. Has anyone on here upgraded their 9005 high beams to HIR-1 bulbs? I just did that mod on my 2011 Tundra and WOW what a difference. BTW... if anyone is researching what to do in regard to headlamp upgrades, I highly suggest reading as much as possible on www.danielsternlighting.com This is where I ordered my Tundra bulbs from ... I'd really like to upgrade the Avalon as well but was curious before I tried if anyone else already had.
