Passenger seat belt reversed

We've been driving around in the car for several weeks now and my wife said that she thinks the seatbelt is installed wrong because no matter what she does it is always twisted. Stopped by Toyota and the service rep said it was installed wrong. The metal buckle and the plastic stop on the strap are facing the window and should be facing inward. Gee it makes you wonder how the factory can mess something like that up. You might want to check yours out next time you jump in the car.

Nope not twisted, I showed the service writer at the dealer and they were amused too. Rather than tie up the car waiting for a new part I decided to wait until the first service appointment.

It might have been removed to install an accessory and not installed that way from the factory. Does your car have Satalite radio in it?

There are no added items installed on my car other than those straight from the factory.
