Your display scrolls? Mine does not. I have the Limited with Nav. How about you?

Thanks,
D.

That could be the issue. I have the Limited without Nav. Like a moron, I opted to get it without nav because I was planning on replacing the LED with a DVD screen, but my A/V smacked me when I told him that. *sigh*

Just FYI, here is the info on the Aux-Pod from P.A.C ( http://www.pac-audio.com )

The AUX-POD gets direct sound from your iPod™ into your factory stereo. No more sound degrading FM modulator. Get clean, high quality sound playing through your factory radio.
  • The AUX-POD works on the iPod™ mini and 3rd generation iPods.
  • The AUX-POD charges the iPod™ while playing.
  • The AUX-POD automatically turns off the iPod™ when the radio is out of AUX-mode or when vehicle/radio is turned off (most vehicles).
  • Change tracks on your iPod™ from the factory radio or steering wheel (vehicles with audio controls on steering wheel).
  • No other auxiliary input available.
The AUX-POD consists of an AUX-BOX Universal Auxiliary Audio Input interface and an Apple iPod™ interface connector. To use the AUX-POD with your vehicle, you will need to order a specific vehicle harness also.
Note: The AUX-POD will only work stand alone. If the vehicle has a separate CD changer, XM or cassette player, it will have to be disconnected in order for the AUX-POD to work.

Note: It does NOT currently support the 05 Avalon, but I have dispatched an e-mail to them asking when it will be supported.

I had a Sirius radio dealer-installed in my new Avalon Limited with a JBL radio and nav system. It has the same text problem on the nav screen as described by others--only 10 characters each for title and artist. A friend who works for Sirius told me that text was cut off because the Toyota radio was designed for XM specs, and Sirius had to deal with that engineering. But from what I've been reading here, the problem is with the nav screen for both Sirius and XM. The text display works fine on FM (for those stations that provide a text stream)--full station name, song title and artist. This sat radio text problem is an annoyance--Sirius sends addl info, such as the year of the song. Also, you can't scroll through stations and see the game scores, or even who's playing--the text is cut off after one team. Even the call-in number is not fully displayed.
Perhaps someone can design an interface that will capture the sat radio text and send it through to the JBL radio in a format that it can display.

I was in a rental buick lesabre w/ XM. The GM radio rolls through the channels real quick which was a nice feature. However, I could not get the text for the other info, of course I did not play with it all day. Its sad that GM got that feature right. The rest of the car was junk compared to the avalon.
