I would expect nothing less than Iridiums for the Avalon. Now.....if they can just fix the lack of VSC & traction control on the touring model...... the 06 still dosen't offer it!

Hello to all,
You can get a bit tighter in the corners just by aplying your money wisely. Put a nice set of rim and tires on your ride. Besides geting it tighter in the corner you'll make it look sweet. On sway bars, you get resolts but no looks. Unless you intend to take it to the tracks.

I felt big time differance on mine.

WIDER IS BETTER!

If anyone ever coming to my area, more than wellcome see and try it out. And trade ideas.

They may share the same engine code, 2GR-FE, but they are completely different animals. The cylinder heads (incl. cams, valves), manifolds, pistons, and injectors are totally different. The IS350 gets the 2GR-FE with direct injection, so it becomes the 2GR-FSE. So, the IS350's 2GR-FSE not only has 6 injectors that deliver fuel directly into the combustion chamber, it also has more injectors in the intake manifold to further optimize the air/fuel ratio.

what size are your wheels? (I know they're obviously 20's, I was curious about the other dimensions) I'm looking about wheels right now, and want to narrow down what will be able to fit on an 06.

Zagrash, configuration may very. Theres not too much to play around on the Avalon. You have to play around with the whidth, offset and the tire size.
Dealers will say that 20's wont fit that it will rub. Dealer will only upgrade to 18 x 7, besides the low quaity wheels
Do it outside. Save the original set.

My configuration is: Maya Wheels (STM Graphite Polished) - 20 x 8.5 5-114.3 Offset +45 TOYO Tire (Proxes T1R™ Ultra-High Performance Radial) - 245/35ZR20
