I have a 06 limited without factory nav and I installed an aftermarket kenwood flip out screen with navigation in mine. They make a kit for a single din radio, if you want a double din you would have to custom fit it.

Thinking alike

ED

I purchased the same equipment for my wife's 06 Avalon in July 06. Really helps and should have been included in the limited package.

So, is it great minds think alike, or fools never differ?

I'm still trying to work myself up to installing some kind of audio input for listening to eAudiobooks on long trips. Have you ever tried to pull the radio on your '06?

+1 my sister have an 07 avalon limited and the joy stick makes it one of the worst navigations to use ever, i dont understand how they can have a touch screen navigation in a 2001 lexus but not in a 6 year newer model avalon. my other sisters 1996 acura RL have touch screen navigation!!!
whoever designed that navigation system probebly never tried using it for a week, one of the worst navigation systems of all time.
