Hey guys, how do these wheels look for an 05 Avy?

If they suck, suggestions?

I think they look too big, which makes the scale to the car look out of balance. But then I'm an old fart and tend to like my cruisers to look understated. Are they 20's ?

That is just a chop, Id put as much rubber on them as possible to save the ride. So 19" or 20" is probably where Ill be. Im not gonna lower the car because, well, Houston roads suck.

Perhaps I should go with a smaller and more substantial looking wheel.

Suggestions?

Suggestions, suggestions and suggestions!

Well, suggestions you'll find a bunch.
Don't get me wrong. I'm not trying to discard anyone's suggestions.

Opinions are personal.
First of all you have to fill good with what put on. Some time things look good to some eyes, but bad to others. When I went to put on mine, they gave me several options by putting different models, styles and colors on my car. At first I went with the intentions of putting on some Hyper Blacks or Blackened out wheels. But for some reason it did'nt catch my eye. I tried several until I was happy. After all your the one that will be driving it. Wheels may look different when see them on the car.

I've seen people that where unhappy after spending lots of $$$$ going after other friends suggestions.

Now as an advice to you.
If your road condition are not the greatest, maybe 19's would be the way to go. Get more rubber on the wheels to help protect them. Pot holes can put a nice dent on some expensive wheels and in your pocket for repairs, if you know what I mean.

Remember that some wheels look nice on one car, but different on others.
I suggest that you go to a motorsport shop and try on several, until it catches your eye!

Good luck and keep us updated.
