Question My 1997 Camry needs a new suspension, what should I get?

My car is in my hella tight sig

Anyway, the shocks are shot and the suspension is soft as it is. From what I know, it is a PITA to replace even the stock shocks, so I might go for the gold and get a new suspension kit for it.

First: I DO NOT WANT TO LOWER TO LOOK LIKE LITTLE RICE BOY!!! I am ONLY doing this for PREFORMANCE, NOT LOOKS. Yes, I am sure I will drop some height (best if I don't, or if its adjustable), but lowering it is NOT the goal, better preformance is.

I cannot find much of anything online, do you have any recomendations as to what I should do?

Do I need anti-sway bars or anything like that? I really don't know where to start for this car.

Correct me if I am wrong, but don't you need some major toolage to get to the shocks on my car (McPherson's), I would probably have a shop do it for me.

Any guidance is appreciated. Links wanted too.

Thanks!!!
