some models of the 2005 are equipped with an immobilizer... luckily, mine was not. be sure that your installer knows how to interface the remote start with that. also, it'd be a good idea to get a combination remote start/keyless entry... which most remote start products are. your factory keyless entry will not work when the car is remote started. kinda defeats the purpose of having remote start if you have to walk up to your car and open the locks manually with the key
