Do you have Auto or Manual hubs Ovrrdrive??? This also makes a difference. manual hubs, you will not notice the wear as the joints are only in motion when the hubs are engaged. but with the ADD style hubs, the cv's are always turning, and with excessive torion crank, which cause extreme CV angles, you will rub/wear the boots out sooner, in my experience. plus, you stated, you have only gone up (estimated) halfway. So many people crank them to extremes, adn it makes touble. I know, I thought that way when I first got my 3vze, and shortly learned it was bad idea. But to each his own. We just share our experiences here.
