Antifreeze
Back in the old days you could go to your local auto store and have a choice on what type of antifreeze you could put in your car, now a days you dont really have that choice. I recently flushed and changed it in my 90 Corolla 4afe refilling it with Full Strength non dexcool that a friend of mine had sealed and brand new at his house. I live in a colder climate in upstate NY and dont feel that this will pose any problem. but upon returning home that same day I have noticed that the temperature guage didn't move after 30 miles drive. Was wondering if this could pose any troubles with using it in this way. most of the time in the winter I have to put cardboard in the front of the radiator in the cold winter up here to even get good heat from it, will using antifreeze in this way help with that sympton as well. thanks for your input in this matter.
