hi poeple i wanna ask something...
i have a hachi-roku(ae86) with 4age 16v.but i wanna swap the engine with a 4age 20v.
i dunno what to do?? should i change all of the engine or some parts?? if some parts plz tell me what i need?? thnx thats all for now ( i need quick help) i can give u my msn for detailed information...
yeah i looked at that i was hoping to do that 2 but one i know you need a replacment kit for the rad and air filter like 2 move it to another spot and i was talking 2 a company that specializes in that but he was new he told me that b4 u move the parts and relocate it to make enough room for the 20 valve your have 2 take everything out like normal then cut out the fire wall and move if towards the front seat area more after then you have 2 cut out the wheel wells and make them so they dont stick in as much i think its bs but im not sure but 2 much money 4 me 2 do that just for one cilinder more
The firewall will have to be cut or at least banged in to make room for the coil and wires, the wheel wells cut out??? that's probably BS right there. You will probably need a rad that has the outlet on the side closest to the inlet on the 20V.

by the way, this is not a 5 cylinder motor, it has 4 cylinders like your 16 valve, only there is an extra intake valve per cylinder
You want to swap a motor in to your car, and you don't even know that it's the same amout of pistons and displacement? Ouch. Sounds like this won't ever happen.
