1996 Toyota Corolla 120,000 mile maintainence

Hi all,

My 96 toyota corolla is nearing the 120k mile and I am trying to understand what kinda maintainence is needed on it. I am in the market to buy a new car. Can anyone give me a rough estimate on how much the 120k mile maintainence would cost so that I would know if it makes sense to spend money on it or to sell it and buy a new car.

Thanks for the help.

if you are not changing timing belt ( not sure about timing chain).. let the purchaser know that... coz you need replace it every 60K.

i changed plugs, plug wires, distributor cover.. oils(usual) when i bought my car at 140K.

also make sure you tell right MPG

Go to a Toyota dealership and ask the service guy to print you a copy of the maintenance schedule for your car.. I was at Toyota getting an oil change on the weekend and I asked the guy what else was required for a car with 140,000km. He basically just printed off the whole maintenance schedule for my car.
