Post motor swap

hey i have a 19897 toyota corolla fx gts and i wanted to know if any one knows about installing a 3sgte engine in , wntto know what i need to kow abot this swap before buying the motor

Not trying to offend you, but I think if you have to ask questions about the swap, you shouldnt be attempting it. putting a 3S-GTE into a corolla isnt gonna be an easy task.

The only thing you need to know is that its not an easy swap, its been done but you need custom work.

go with 20V which cost less than the 3S-gte and alot easier if you think of it.... i can even do the harness with no problem

20V is also alot less powerful than a 3S-GTE.

i know its less power but from a starting point its ok .... still 3sgte is the way if u have the time and patience to do it... thats y i have it in my starlet

Man i tell u 20V is less headache, custom work, and bottom line... easier to do

so which 20v should i go with the silver or the black i will be using this car to do 1/4 mile run so i want the one that will take more power and give me lower timeslip

if it was a drag car I wouldnt use either one... Neither of them respond very well to boost, thanks to the internals... I'd just go ahead with the 3S-GTE.

i think i'll just do the 4agze motor cuz i serious don't think i have the time and money to do the 3sgte swap from what i read i guess th mounts dont line up with the motor and i don't have and welding tool but with the aze i can install som camshaft,pully and i'll run alot faster then i am now
