muhahaha.. so my driver side light was gone on my ae92 (corner lamp under the pop up light, coupe owners should know this problem is common) I guess because water got into it and the paper-thin strip that carries the power from the side bulb to the center bulb got rusted and didn't carry power to the bulb anymore. So anyways.. this is what I love about working for GM suppliers, on thursday at work we got some parts for a new GM program, which is 2 peanut bulb casings with wiring and connectors to the power wire. first thing I thought was.. hmm.. I wonder if I can use this to fix my lights? so I took one, and today I took the housing out of the car and started the work.. about an hour later I had working lights again!!

of course I had to do a bit of cutting with an exacto knife on the lamp casing and on the peanut bulb casings, because the toyota ones were smaller in thickness.. but in the end, I ended up saving more than $100, which is what the whole light-casing is worth brand new. ($20 plus tax at junkyards, but after trying 5 different casings, they all had the same problem :x ) man, if I only had a digital cam to show you guys!

(soon soon!)
