Plugs and plug wires dont exactly improve performance unless your current ones are worned out, which I doubt is the case in a 99 year model corolla. Stock ones work WAY better than ANY aftermarket one.

I'm new here so please forgive my ignorance but.... are you really putting a lot of power to yours wheels or were you being sarcastic? If you are putting down some power how are you doing it?

Hondas are too slow which is why there are more performance parts made for them.

naw, i'm not putting any power to the wheels other than the stock power :P
I just needed to replace those parts, but I just went to the toyota dealership and let them do it, cuz its too cold to work on the car now
I wish I was putting that much power to the ground tho.

hmm...the 2002 civic tested 0-60 at http://www.corolland.com/specs.html was 10.4 sec.

2003 corolla 0-60=9.5 sec

i think reason honda has more parts be toyota doesn't have much sports cars unlike honda/acura, and toyota have less fan base for racers which are mostly older people.

what i would like to see toyota do, is in the past with 2 door sport corollas! there are no current 2 door except mr2, & the slow Echo. Bring back the GT-S's!
