its hard to figure out the procedure to drain the tranny fluid from torque converter .. removing hose and draining .. i heard this procedure.. dont tell me again..

any one please take some pics and post it .. it will be of great help coz i planned to change tranny oil next weekend..

I agree that would be very nice, althought I must say if you are truely DIY, then fork over $15 for the Haynes manual, has nice ones in there on the basic drain and refill. I have read on numerous sites how to do a flush by disconnecting trans cooler lines from radiator so I am going to go for it! I will let you know when I finish, probably not for atleast a month as put auto-rx in engine and trans, I must say trans after 20 miles shifts a bit smoother.

Ya, the torque converter....ERRR "DIFF" drain bolt is behind the tranny drain bolt. Problem is that the *fill* bolt for the DIFF is above both of them kinda' located between the firewall and directly below the throttle body. (Hint: If you remove all your air intake crap you can look down & see the bolt-head pointing toward the rear of the car, so you could fill it via funnel & tube by using gravity..............****OR****................(he re comes my beef about trans oils).........

........***IF*** you can still find 'em, they used to make tranny oils..........(I think the torque converter can use strictly ATF, or you can use a 50/50 mix of true trans oil (like 75W90) and ATF.........(don't ask me why, I have noooooo idea what the heck it matters to a differential)...........BUT........every trans oil I've looked at lately (or ATF for that matter) are all just in bottles & that's it!

No more neat little built-in pumps nor any little pumps hanging as an end-cap, "hey buy me, too" kinda' thing right next to them. NUTTIN', honey!!! Just the oils. (Sonsab(*&ches)

EDIT: NEVERRRRRRMIIIIIIND!!!!!!!! I got TC & Diff on the brain cross-hatched!!! Torque converter will drain as you drain trans fluid if you use the coolant bypass hose. Otherwise, just drain/refill your trans at every oil change for a few oil changes & you'll be good.
