cat back,catalytic con, or intake!@#!@#!@#!@#!@#

im getting a cat back on my rolla, and i was wondering if i should get a high flow converter so my whole exhaust can be new, because im going to get headers soon aswell, or instead of the converter should i get a cold air intake? what would give me more power, catback with con, or cat back and intake? let me know what u think

I'd start with the exhaust side of the engine. Stock intake flows quite alot really. I could turbocharge a car with the stock EFi intake, and that wouldnt be the restrictive part.

all 3 options arent worth the money, if thats a concern to you... 300 for headers, 300 for a catback, 100 for an intake, youll make what.. a 1-2mpg mileage increase, a bit sharper throttle response in the higher rev range..... but every 4age i know of with headers loose a good deal of bottom end torque.

youll get better gains in both milage and performance with an aftermarket air/fuel controller tuned properly.

ya im not getting the headers i decided to just stick with the ones i got now, but the cat back i want it, to get a lil power and to make my car sound nice, and loud. but what does the air/fuel controller do? how does that boost up my performance? and where can i find one for a 97 rolla?

ive seen KYO catbacks on ebay other than that never seen one anywhere else. i find if you do all the breathing mods they do alot more collectively than any one mod, i see it as its only as good as its weekest link. the headers do work decent i replaced my rotted out down pipe with a OBX header and it works ok
