4AGE Swap Pics

Just thought id share a few pics of a built 4AGE with ported head, cams and gears we swapped into a "sleeper" DX

Here is the engine on the stand:

And then dropped in the car and ready to fire:

All hidden in here:

Its all new and new clutch/flywheel so still breaking her in but feels pretty peppy

W00t!
Nice job, man.

I was so close to doing the same thing to my '90, but I decided I really don't have the income for it right now.

While you're at it in the bay, you should get a set of headers to match (either blue or chrome would be cool, since you do have some chrome bits among the new stuff) and spray that sway bar. Maybe spray the hoses too. Cheap things that will add to the already sweet look of that motor.

PS: Depending on exactly what model of 944 that is, you may, in fact, be able to outrun it =)

Thanks guys We originally planned on putting the engine back in his 89 GTS but he changed his mind after the engine was done and decided he wanted to go the turbo route instead. All the powdercoating (the candy blue) and polishing was done in-house and i think it turned out pretty nice.

Ill have to share some pics of the GTS with the 3SGTE in it here shortly...
Jeff

Oh yah, didn't see that. Just drill out the holes, remove the plastic around the wipers, and put some bolts/nuts in there.
