Headlights always on

my headlghts are always on when i start my car, how can i fix this?

There's a switch on an arm on the left side of your steering wheel at about 9 o clock...Make sure that the control on the end is all the way turned clockwise...that should shut them off...good luck and keep us informed...Radd Guy...

i checked it, its off and i still have the problem, any other osuggestions? maybe taking the fuse off for a couple of secs and putting back in?

Those are your DRL's (daytime running lights) they are standard safety item on the car...You can't shut them off by just removing the fuse, I have an 03 and tried that, I think you have to bypass and splice some wires..In some past threads on this subject people have posted links with pictures on how to do this procedure, someone here will probably do the same for you...The lights being on can't hurt your car the only thing I found was it shortened the life of my superstars ...good luck...Radd Guy...

Just leave them on, makes it safer to drive cause our cars are sometimes hard to see from large vehicles

Unlees your worried about your bulb life, but I say I'll replace a bulb rather than get in an accident
