2004 Corolla Keyless Entry Odd Problem

The remote I have has three buttons: lock, unlock, and panic on the back of the remote. I thougth it was the battery so I replaced it. The remote will work the first time I press a button. That it is will lock, unlock, or panic, but then will not respond to any other button presses until I take the battery out and put it back in. Then it will work one time again.
Does it need reprogrammed? Anyone got the 2004 programming instructions? The 2003 instructions I found on this forum don't work.

When I bought my 2004 Corolla they gave me two keyless remotes. The one I put in a drawer and have never used yet. Try your other one.

^agreed. If the other one does the same, or not, talk to your dealer, they should fix it free
