1992 Corolla DX with Rough Idling...

Hi, I own a 1992 Toyota Corolla DX Sedan FWD automatic with approximately 105000 miles on it. The problem with my ride is that it's vibrating (shaking) the whole car when it is on either Drive, Reverse, 2nd Gear and Low Gear. Sometimes my car vibrates even on park and neutral. Anyone have any idea what the problem might be? I changed out the spark plugs, distributor + wires, replaced engine mounts(worn out), replaced the air filter(worn), turned the idle screw up (tried various adjustments) and an oil change with the correct specifications as the instruction manual said. Also, the vibrations do sometimes go away whenever I fill up my car with octane booster, fuel injector cleaner, or gas treatment (I don't add them together and then put gas. I add one of them and then fill up with gas) . Once I refill my car with gas without either of those products, my car begins to vibrate outta control. Any advice is more than welcome.

Use higher octane gas, its probably cheaper than what you're doing now by adding something here and then something there.

Did you replace all the engine mounts ? I think there are 5 of them if you count the under the transmission.

It's hard to explain a bad shaking if all the cylinders are firing as they should. Do you also have a loss of power, bad gas mileage? Have you done a compression test and checked the timing?

I'm using Octane 89 since I had the car. I made sure that my gas tank was near empty before switching to either 89 or 91, neither gas switch worked... Also, I did change all the mounts, 1 under the cooling fan, 1 under the transmission, 1 under the air filter box, and 1 near the washer fluid container. I do have a bit of a bad gas mileage and I haven't done a compression test yet. (first time hearing of it hehe. But I'm guessing it's it though.) I already sent my car to the shop. Hopefully those bastards won't break anything and say they discovered the problem. Grrrr. I'll update once I get some feedback from them. Much thanks for the feed back peeps.
