USA Horn

I had some dickface totally move over on me today, and my horn is really pussy. I saw an advertisement for one here on the site but I was wondering if anyone else has any ideas. DIY from a junkyard would be cool too as long as it doesnt require f'ing with the wiring cause my alarm is really picky and I don't want to screw with it. Basically something requireing no modification but sounding a hell of a lot better than the toot toot of my horn.

oh yeah.....cheap starving college student......not too expensive now

Putting in a new horn is VERY easy. You just swap two plugs or so and it works. Just need to mount it where the old horn was mounted and you're ready to go. You could go to the junk yard and just find a car that looks like they would have a nice loud horn (trucks, ect).

I got mine from Kragen. To be honest, the sound isn't deep enough for me, but it's loud as hell.

Get some FIAMM freeway blaster horns, they're supposed to have the big rig sound.

Hella Twin Supertone horns are good. An airhorn might also be sweet, especially if the other party is on the phone...

And if you have one of those airhorns you bought for Monday night football, you can use them too

bring your horn to the salvage yard and just compare the plugs. I think Camry's and Avalon's have louder horns as do most luxury cars domestic and foreign

Changing horn is very easy, but you might need to crimp some connectors on. Aside from that it's just mounting the horn on and possibly using a relay if you have a high power horn.

If you have Hella Supertones, you really don't want to be standing withing about 5 or 6 ft of the front end of the car when the horn turns on. They are very loud. I accidentlly hit the panic button once on my keyless entry once standing in front of my car.
