I have a 1984 Toyota Corolla RWD..... It has a manual transmission. And there is a problem with the manual transmissions main thrust shaft and main thrust bearing... I take it to my mechanic and he says that those parts arent available anymore!!! Is this true!!! HELP!!! I just dumped over $1K into the tires and engine!!!! I dotn want to throw that money away because of two measly parts!!!!

Can anyone help!!!!

someone on here will most likely know where you could get the parts, most likely the people your mech go through can't get them but they probably are available, maybe try a transmission shop. at the worst find a used tranny and swap it in

For less than the cost of repair, you could probably get a used T-50 tranny.

Toyota3TC.com has a shop listing that can likely find the parts for you if you so desire to go that route.
