you can only upgrade not downgrade.

the older corollas 14" will not fit because they are 4x100 and 2003 and
up corollas are 5x100.

Huh?? the bolt pattern has nothing to do with it, its the size of the rotors and calipers that define it.

I can put 13s on my 89 GTS with no problems and the cars come with 14s as OEM on the GTS and 13s on the SR5 and sedans. After 1990 you can't put 13s on the GTS as they upsized the rotor and calipers, but I believe the SR5 and Sedans retained the smaller rotors right up until 1992.

After 1993 and up you can only fit 14" or bigger and After 2003 you can only fit 15" or higher, but don't quote me on that.

I think I'm just going to test fit a 14" wheel to see if it clears the calipers.

after checking specs on brake rotor size I doubt 14" will fit. 1993-2002 Corolla uses 255mm rotor while 2003-2006 uses 274mm.

The topic was "WILL 14" WHEEL FIT 2006 COROLLA CE"
I thought he was talking about the older 14" corolla wheels.

No.. i'm refering to the size not bolt pattern.

The reason I ask is that I still have snow tires from the focus 185/70/14.. i was hoping that I can get a set of 5x100 14" wheel and fit it in the corolla. My snow tires are less 2 months old so I don't really want to buy a new set of 15"s.. but if it doesn't fit then I don't have a choice but to buy a new set.

yeah.. I re-read your post again and it made sense then.. I thought you meant that 14s wouldn't fit ON older corollas because they were 4x100.
