does anybody know how rare are a 1974 sr5 1.6l corolla?

Depends on how you rate the rareness of something I supose. Basically it depends on how many of them there are and how many people want to buy them.
Does it have to run to qualify? Do you want to buy one? If you do it will be that much more rare

I don't think there is very many 70's Corollas around. Even here in California, the mecca of old cars that aren't rusted out, I don't see very many.

The shock towers rust out on pre '77 Corollas regularly on cars from the rust belt. I have driven one of those old original SR5s ( I think '74 was the 1st year for them) but I have not seen one in these parts for decades. A great car in it's day.
