AE92 Help Please :)

Hello everyone, Vlad the Impaler here.......I haven't posted here in a long time. But I have a question that I need some help on and you guys (and girls) have been outstanding help in the past....

In case you don't know I have an 89 Corolla GTS (ae92, of course). I have a Silvertop engine/tranny and I have the ECU....I found someone who has components that I would need but I have no idea what I'm missing.

I know I need the AFM and ignition setup and wire harness. Those he has for sure. But what else is missing is my question? Like what sensors would I need? Or other components.....this guy says he's got a lot and will quote a price based on if he has what I'm looking for.

This is me right here--------------->

PLEASE HELP!!! Otherwise there will be another Silvertop for sale on Ebay

He's the first person that is willing to sell me just parts, not a complete engine....I'm excited here.......

Vlad.

standard sensors would include the AFM, knock, speedo and water temp. i guess you wouldn't really know what you're missing until you have the engine in front of you and installed in the engine.

That's part of the problem......I don't know where to look to find these things on the engine to see if I need them or not. I'm not the most mechanically inclined for this thing....that's why I have my brother the mechanic but he's been near unreachable to help me with this.

Anything I can re-use from the stock 4AGE?

knock sensor should be the same. as with the speedsensor.
silvertop o2 sensor is a 3 or 4 wire i think, so you can't use the one from a 16v 4AGE (single wire).

i have a friend with the stock silvertop 20V ecu, ignitor/coil, distributor (including cap & rotor), and wiring pigtails. I'm sure he'd let it all go for $200

I may just have to get his info from you. Depends on what this guy says to me about $$$. If he comes back saying he's got the stuff I need but its MAD amounts of money then I'll PM you in the next few days once this guy gets back to me with prices. Thanks speed!
