Where do I find front motor mount for 1993 Corolla?

Hi all,

I am looking to replace all the motor mounts on my 1993 Toyota Corolla (1.8L auto tranny). I got Toyota dealer quotes for all the mounts except the front one, which they all claim is completely out of stock in the U.S.

I would be willing to go with polyurethane motor mounts (for the front, or for all of them), but I have also been unable to find those. Even Suspension.com (on the phone) says they don't have any parts for the 1993 Corolla.

Where can I find a replacement front motor mount (and/or polyurethane for all the mounts)? Thanks!

-Steve

NAPA, Autozone, Pepboys, Advanced Auto, Car Quest, etc... they can all get them. Toyota just doesn't sell parts like that after the gen is a certin number of years old.

...you might even try ebay too.

How does the quality of (e.g.) Advance Auto Parts mounts compare to OEM mounts? I had an alternator for my 1993 Corolla from Advance (or Autozone, can't remember) fail after just 2 years. The OEM one I replaced it with is still running fine 3 years later. Thanks! -Steve

I preferr to use OEM for my vehicles, but due to their cost I can't always afford it. I agree that OEM is better than the aftermarket, but the aftermarket is really good too.

So long as you buy the ones made by AC Delco, Denso, MOOG, or the like the quality is fine. ...they're the exact same ones the over priced Toyota parts dept sells. TMC just has a sales agreement with the company who produces them to put the Toyota name on them and only sell them thru their parts dept for like the first 10yrs of a model run

All those stores I listed will Carry AC Delco or Denso (or who ever originally made them for Toyota)

Neither AC Delco's nor Denso's websites have the engine/motor mounts for a 1993 Corolla. How good is the mfr Anchor? I have seen them on Advance Auto Parts and another site. Would their motor mounts last 5 years?

junkyard. There are some parts that are almost new condition and you get them for cheap

Turns out ToyotaWorld.com had the front motor mount in stock after all. Thanks, all, for your input. :-)
