unless the hydraulic fluid is pristine like clear id try changing it, even if it looks clean its worth the $3.00 in fluid to try this could be air affecting the master cyl or crap in the lines affecting either end...
good test push the clutch down and hold it down, even jamb a stick of wood between the seat and the pedal leave it of a few minutes 15 maybe then see if it has leaked down?
the other thing that comes to mind although kinda daunting..could be the clutch dampeners in the friction disc have desintegrated and bits of that are getting stuck between the pressure plate/dics/ flywheel
id chase the hydraulics down first, PS if you do find a problem with the hydraulics you can buy rebuild kits for both the master and the slave for a fraction of replacing them..
