Windshield vent on '05 S

Hi, I've noticed that my windshield vent is blowing cold air everytime when I turned the fan on it's like the A/C will turn on instanly. But obviously I have not push the A/C button. Has anyone here notice that too on your 2005 Corolla and is that normal? I know that my '93 Camry don't do that. Any input will be appreciated. Thanks!

What is your temp dial set at?...Does the air temp warm/change when you turn it to hot?....How cold is the air blowing out?(ice cold or just cool?)....Can you hear your AC kick on when you turn your blower on? If your AC doesn't kick on its just blowing cool air on the cold dial setting its normal......Radd Guy...

It was set to cold (blue) and yes it turn warm when you set the dial to hot or red. It's blowing ice cold and I can feel that the A/C is kicking and also my idles goes up to 1K. So do you think is normal? I just start to notice that this afternoon since it's fairly room temp inside the car and it's about 75' showing in the weather gauge. But when I put the dial to the windshield and turn the fan to low. It feels like blowing cold air and yes it is blowing cold air. Weird, but I will call the dealer tomorrow about that.
