Clutch going.

Well, after putting about 30k miles on it this year, the corolla's clutch is starting to slip. Would this be a good replacement, or do any of you have a better suggestion?

How hard would the labor be to do myself? I'd like to learn.

Do you really need the added strength of it?

I put the ACT stage 1 in my GT-S. I have about 5K on the kit so far and its great. It does take a little more leg to get the clutch in but the pedal travel is so short compared to my frontier it doesn't even bother me. But doing the job was a pain. Had to drop the subframe to get the tranny out. And if you're going to do it you should be ready to buy new front and rear torque mounts. Mine were totally shot. and while you have the tranny out do some good quality gear oil in your tranny. and before you pay 300 for the kit do some research you can find it shipped for @ 270. and be ready to have one hell of a time bleeding the clutch beause of the bends in the lines.

I probably have to get a sinter clutch next, holy shit they suck driving in town. its basically on/off. But a mass-clutch wont hold the power I'll be putting out.

I'm not really planning on adding alot of power, actually i really just want something I can replace and not worry about ever again. Pedal firmness doesnt matter to me, I too, have driven a nissan truck, haha!
