2006 corolla keyless entry

I just picked up a brand new corolla and wanted to find out how to change the options for the alarm. Such as.. making it honk when you arm it and the other hidden features you normally have to go to the dealer for.

Btw i did a search but only found it for the older vehicles..

Thanks ahead of time.

also is there some kind of self test mode?? My 2005 Nissan altima has a sequence of closing doors and turning the ignition, that makes it test the window wipers, horn, high/low beams, fuel pump, radiator fans, etc.

Don't worry man, someone will answer the question, is not like you're paying them or their life depends on it, eventually someone who has the same car and knows how to will respond.

My assumption is that you read the manual. I just purchased an '06 S and I read somewhere in the manual about the alarm. I know there is some procedure to go through that allows you to change how the door locks are set when you engage the car in the drive posistion. All else fails...call the dealer where you bought it.

Ya i read in the manual but it says nothing about the procedure...The dealer wants me to drive down there but it is like 50 miles away.

Thanks for the response
