AE92 Another Problem!!: Brakes Locking in reverse?!?!? and more...

I'm not sure how to explain it but when i go into reverse and begin to reverse if i hit the brakes even a little bit i hear clanking and what not. Also going over bumps i hear clank clank clank every time i hit a bump, and when say im moving forward in first slowly then let off the gas(it lunges) there is a clank or sometimes after shifting, I'm really worried about this pls help me.

Also all this began to happen after Changing my clutch disc presure plate release bearing some seals on the axles a new motor mount new clutch slave cylinder new clutch master cylinder. GRRRRRRRRR

Time for a new transmission man.. if changing the clutch didn't fix it, chances are your transmission is dying on you. Changing motor mounts wouldn't be a bad Idea either, you probably have a bad one somewhere.

As for the brake problem, sounds like your rear calipers are starting to cease, the ones on my 89 GTS went at about 240,000km.

Doesnt sound like tranny probem to me, might be suspension components or bushings.

I guess this weekend i'll check to make sure all the blts are secure, and its definatly not a tranny problem and when i hit the brakes when im going into reverse it feels like the fronts dragging... and i did have a bad mount thats why i replaced one the clicking after shifting isnt coming from the transmission it sounds like somethings loose...

the lurching when doing slow in 1st is normal, I get it. Posted a question about it awhile back and everyone else seemed to have the same thing with the car. I find letting go of the gas very very slowly works .
