lol liter, umm yea when ever you feel like it, like today I felt like going to 7000 lol, a little high but hey engine didn't explod . for regular driving you can do anywhere from 3000 to 4000 for a nice ride. Just remember you will lose about 1000 rpm per shift in the lower rpm, and when you are really close to the redline that jumps to about 2000 rpm

7000+ might cause damage, because the 4A-F valves start to float at about that rpm range. I've took it to 9000rpm just to see how it felt like....

What do you mean the valves begin to float?
and man I feel like this 4af is invincible lol, althought I have seen pics with holes in the block with shit sticking out, such as the connecting rod (think thats what they are called lol)

It means the valves cant keep up with the cam profile, they jump around because the valvesprings arent strong enough.

replace the valve springs and that will get better? I have been starting to wonder if I should do a uniqe thing and do up my 4af rather than just get a 4age... but I wonder what the limits are of that f head...
