4afe ie '89 all-trac coil upgrading
-Is there a coil upgrade that will replace the 4afe coil....the factory coil is inside the distributor. Many of the parts houses list performance coils but: 1. there are only 4 wires with this cap 2. the coils they list are all external mounts?
-The 'Rolla A/T is ok at idle but even after tune-up and warm the engine is not smooth at (any)'speed'. Seems like the engine is shaking even at constant throttle. It now has: new cat-back, and shows good compression. It was a 1-owner and really well maintained...just over 100K.
