So, I bought a new $50 right engine mount for my 91 rolla because the rubber in my old one was cracked. I went to put it in tonight, and followed these torque specs from my Hayes manual, which is the same information available on autozones free online info.
Quote:
Right motor mount and through bolt-58 ft. lbs. (78 Nm).
Engine mounting RH-to-engine manual-nut-38 ft. lbs. (52 Nm)
Engine mounting RH-to-engine manual bolt-47 ft. lbs. (64 Nm)

Now that I look at it I actually torqued the RH-to-engine nut with the right motor mount and through bolt spec (58 ft lbs). I feel like such a dumbass. Both bolts snapped off in the nuts. SO the mount is cooked, because the bolts are actually welded onto the mount. $50 down the drain. I guess I should've taken it to 38 ft lbs?
