that's a definite YES...most of the assesory power is 12v..so no need for any conversions or anything.

search it....i know there is the trunk mod and i know there are quite a few here who have done teh under the dash shining onto the foot wells thing. Some have even connected to the door lights so they come on when the door is opened.

power? if all else fails you cigarrette lighter is 12 volts

I just installed them into my car....wat kinda car do you drive?

To install them these are the 3 power sources that i recommend:
1 - cigarette lighter: also need a switch because continous power is fed to this even withte car turned off
2 - door lights: if you can find it tap into these to have them turn on when your doors are open...or the dome light is turned on.
3 - interior lights...this is how i did mine. I hooked it up to the temperature gauge light bulb and also to a switch. That way they turn on when i turn my headlights/interior lights on, but can be turned off at any time.

No clue how you would access it on 97. You may jsut want to wire it to the cigarette lighter.

Just get a plain old switch that you can mount to your dash....i would suggest just using the computer on/off switch that came with it...and just double side tape it to the under part of your dash. To install the cathodes use zip ties and not just double sided tape i drilled 2 small holes at the bottom of the dash to fit the zips through. Lastly mount the inverter some place where good airflow comes thru...DO NOT mount it behind your deck...i did and it over heated the inverter.

well, you would take that piece out and tap into it from behind then depending where you want your light, run wires through the dash or under the carpet

Ya if your just putting them under teh front dash then just run them through the dash..in order to tap from the cigarette lighter you may have to take the trim panel off and unscrew some shit in roder to access it. Lemme know if you have any problems.
