Car Shaking When In Drive

i have a 1991 SR5 and when i put it in drive it shakes BAD... if you look at the passenger seat from outside the car it looks like ive got a killer system cranked up....

it does not do it in park, reverse, or neutral

is this normal? the tranny in it is brand new (under 8000 miles on it) the engine is running great w/ 201K on it

also it has a clunking noise when its being drove coming from all the wheels (i believe.. atleast 1 in the front and back maybe more havent had a chance to check it out) just got the passenger CV axle done, bought it from my friend after he lost his lisence, it was sitting in his driveway for 3 months but he started it up everyday to keep the engine clean

any ideas?

is the clunking noise coming from when you hit a bump cuz it happened to me it turned out to be a loose caliper one of the bolts fell out? probably not tho maybe u have a few brokmen mounts or something dunno..........

sounds like a broken motor mount. have someone sit in the car and put it into drive while you look at the motor mounts.
