for a red-top 4A out of a '90 GTS? Stumbled across one in a local pick-n-pull this weekend. Unknown mileage (dash out), AFM and ECU included, weather they know it or not Redneck behind the counter doesn't know what he has. Quoted me $400US - they pull, with a 30 day BS warrenty. I'm thinking $250 with me pulling and no warrenty... it'll take me at least that long to rebuild it.
TIA, just ask to let me know if your price is CA or US dollars (I can do the conversion )
didn't someone say that 4AGE's were $750 at Lucky Star? but if cyril says he'd pay $500 for them.. then he probably knows where to get them for that much. $450 USD is about $712 CDN.. so that's not too bad.. if you pull it yourself.. then you save some money.
i have never been to that N1 Auto to buy anything. But my car got a couple N1Auto sticker on it, so I went to check out their site. The site is kinda out of date, but still, you can goto check it out yourself www.n1auto.com , check the Used Part section at the bottom.....
Actually Neil, over at club4ag, they were discussing that. One guy posted a pic of his stock Prism GSi bay. He didn't have T-VIS, making it small port, but at the same rate, he had an AFM.
i think those 4age's they have at n1 auto are pulled from the 86's they had last year, all of the guys there bought a 86 each, there was like 3-4 all together parked in front of their shop. they bought them early last year and andy (one of the mechs) told me they were fucking around in the silverstar parking lot with the 86's and bashed them like bumper cars in the snow (they weren't decent condition anyway). hahaha... the panda coupe that belonged to albert was sold a month ago
i think it's just the SC that they are selling, off of that ae100, it didn't say 4agze or 'engine' beside it like they did describing the 4age
