sr5 to gts

ok so im obviously new to this...

just wondering what i would need to make an ae86 sr5 a decent car. i know the engine and rear end. what else needs to be replaced above and beyond suspension and brakes.

the reason i ask is its getting much harder to find gt-s' and i can probably pick up an sr5 in pretty good shape for really cheap. so is this worth doing? or should i hold out until i can find a nice gt-s?

thanks
newb

Use the SEARCH button dude.. this has been discussed soooo many times before.

Also, go to club4ag.com and check their tech section.. they got a LOT of write ups on AE86 upgrades, if I'm not mistaken SR5 to GTS conversions is one of them.

done it in my ae92, a lot of work for what's it's going to give, buy a GTS in the first place. Alot more parts than you,d think need to be changed to have a GTS.
