AFM OR MAF how to swap?

I think that japanese cars came with maf how would i get it to work on my afm did any north american 4ages come with maf? can anyone give me info on this i havnt really found anything and is maf better than afm?

You mean MAP.. AFM/MAF = same word backwards..

You will need a MAP ECU , wiring and probably other tidbits.. Talk to Ryan KP61, he was selling 4AGE MAP conversions for about $400

isn't AFM air flow meter? Wish I could remember all the stuff on the 2. Take it I want a map sensor not afm?

ok pop your hood and have at look at your intake... u see the big black thing?? thats your AFM... ALL USDM motor has that stupid lookin thing there... if u look under a hood of a JDM motor u will not see that big ugly thing there coz its already build iniside your ECU adn thats called MAP... and alot of ppl would like to use MAP coz u dun see that ugly thing sittin there and u can have a real intake pipe and not thats sutpid USDM adaptor crap....

Beat me to what fool! no one asked "where's the afm?" did they! he asked what AFM means.. not where it is.

And yes.. 10+hp for $400.. I'd hit it.

guess ill look into it more someday thanks for the help man i apreciate it i also agree that that stupid metal thing with that plug in it looks ugly and its even uglyer when you want a custom intake and need an adapter plate, thanks agian i was just wondering if there really was much of a difference because i already knew the map wasnt a big hulking senser sticking onto the intake box its like just a plug or what ever....
