what engine will fit in an 86 sr5? other than the 4ac. and approx. how much cost?

i think my engine is about to die...

uhh... 3A-C, but I doubt you'd want one of those. But really, the 4A-GE should probably be the least you should consider.

Well, if you really don't want to convert to EFI, just grab a 4A-GE, and get a set of carbs.

Easiest and cheapest would probably be an early, carbed 4A-F but the power gains wouldn't be worth it for the amount of work you'd be doing. You should at the very least be looking at the 4A-G with a set of sidedraght carbs (weber, solex, mikuni etc)

woo. looks i may not beable to resurrect my SR5 for a while then... may have to buy another car soon... thinking about a 240sx, whats your opinon on that car? still throwing around the idea anyway... i have a "car" in the mean time but its a truck... i hate trucks.
