GTS parts into ae92, prices, etc. Check it out!

Sound like a good deal? Sounds good to me...
All prices in USD
front and rear sway bars including end links 35.00 each
control arms (92 4 doors didnt get the right kinds...) 35.00 each
strut bar (strut to firewall to strut) 25.00

If anyone is interested:

strut and spring assembly (name price)

this car was at a junkyard so if anyone is intersted in some parts lmk! Most everything was intact.

um, the control arms in the gts are different than the sr5/4 door......

the rear sways in a gts should be the same as an sr5

stock ae92 gts frontswaybar is a 22mm hollow bar, ae92 gtz is a 23mm hollow bar

Um, I was under the impression that my sedan control arms could be replaced by the GTS control arms so the sedan could be rigged with the sway bars.

remove 4 door control arms -> install gts control arms -> install sway bars

No? Does it just need the rear control arms to do this, or all four?

It is a GTS not the GTZ (i dont know the difference anyway).

Are these bad prices then? Is there a problem with hollow bars? I am not sure what you are trying to say.

$105 is a bit much..... especially if they need to be shipped..... because there are still 2 brackets & bushings that are required

i misunderstood you about the control arms (it was late)..... and i was just giving facts about sizes

That makes sense.
No they wont be shipped, its a local place. I called and asked if I could just buy the whole car and get it running again, but I guess it has a 'dismantle title' and can never be titled again...oh well.

Toyotaspeed90, I know you did the sr5 -> gts conversion with your suspension what would be a good price for the following: (vague question I know)

both sway bars, brackets, bushings, end links, and the front and rear (4 total) control arms.
The yard gave me the qoute of 210.00 which I do think is alot. He basically wants 35 for every piece, the brackets and bushings are free along with the end links. I have to pull everything myself too... This definately is much cheaper than whiteline (or similar) and the parts are hard to come by... 150.00?
