I was using an impact wrench today, undoing a lug from the tire, the rusted lug broke the bold lug assembally off.. so insted of 4 holding the tire on, only 3 are now. What is this plate called with that 4 vertical threded things that allow me to atach my tire to the car? thanks

teh studs are waht you screw the lug nuts onto. the hub is waht the studs are mounted in. If you are wanting to replace the one that is broke you do not have to replace hte entire hub.

Use a pretty good size hammer and knock the old stud out then you will put the new stud in and use a lug nut to pull it into the hub. it will take a little bit of time to do it if you want to do it yourself. or you can take it womewhere and ahve them jsut replace the stud taht is broken
