Arrow 4AGE head on 4AFE ?

I'm sure someone has inquired about this before, but will a 4age head bolt right onto a 4afe? I'm sick of having my engine shunned as "economy" !!!!!

Well the pistons are different too. who cares if they call your engine an economy engine. I'll by dynoing my engine next spring. Gonna be up there at 170ish hp and maybe even above that. All out of a 4A-F carbie with bolt on mods

So Flashmn you must be doing a blow-through set-up with that carb huh?

"I'm sure someone has inquired about this before," SR5_4WD you are right, that's why doing a search will probably help you the most. Try searching for variations of "4age head" + "4afe" in the Corolla Forum.

Yup, blowthrough is superior to draw-through in many aspects, plus the fact that I'm using twin webers.

Well, sure you wont find a ready made turbokit, but those cost alot, you can find a turbo from a junkyard, I got mine from a friend of mine for 30us dollars. Try finding a cai that cheap

Nope.. it was for the 4AFE.. I wonder if it would fit a 4AGE, I could imagine the computer could control the 4AGE too, but then again you could go standalone.

I'm just not warming up to the idea of swapping a 4A-GE head just because people call the FE an econoengine....
