thought about spot welding...don't think i will do it. too damn anal and time-consuming for me. how many welds you think there are? 200? 300? f#ck that! imagine...spend a good week on stripping the car down to bare bones, then going along every structural point and welding....egads! no thanks...i'll just cross my fingers and hope the car doesn't snap.

well i think its feasible if you're not planning on driving the car in the winter anyway.. and you have the space and time to do it..

but yeah, it definitely looks like a lot of work.. imagine just keeping all the nuts and bolts organized after you take them off the car! hehe

I say there is like 150+ spot welds just in the engine bay.I have done this on 5 civics so far and let me tell you its worth it if you want to add extra power to you car cause it will bend if you over do it.On a frame like that i usualy do around 1000-1500 welds to realy make it solid but im crazy.Soon i should be taking some new cources in welding so i can do some crazy welds and stuff.

so CamryRR, let me ask you this,

the first time you did it, about how long did the whole process take? from stripping to welding, to rebuilding?
