AE92 Correct oil grade for 90 Corolla

This is a really stupid question, but I would figure I would ask since I dont want to kill my engine if I use the wrong oil. What is the correct oil for a 1990 Corolla? I looked in the manual and Haynes, and the chart didnt seem to be too helpful (I just couldnt figure it out). Our temperature range is from 10F (winter) to 100F (summer). Assuming I read it right, it is 10W40?

The temperature range is what is confusing the heck out of me.....
Thanks

5W-30 for winter and 10W-30 in the summer up here in Canada. Toyota seems to be recommending 5W-30 up here for ALL year round lately though.

I guess I'll stick with 10W30 then. The part that annoys me is that Tennessee has some really wacky weather sometimes. 1 week ago it was almost 80F here, while last night was 19F. Im thinking the 10W30 will be a good all purpose oil....

I'd get the lowest cold viscosity that doesnt leak out of the engine and then play with the hot viscosity.
