Question Timing Belt

Bought 97 corolla.. 67k miles. forgot asking the previous owner if the timing belt had been changed. I was told normally it should get changed around 60k miles, how can I find out?

check for cracks or wear in the belt, other then that it needs to be replaced every so often because of this wear, usually every 150 000kms

take off the top timing cover and look for the writing on it if the writing is worn off its probably due, but also look at the condition of the belt, for cracks and missing ribs
