AE92 over cooling of the engine

so now thats its getting around 35 degrees ferenheight around here ive noticed that when im crusing around 45-60 mph the engine temperature gauge actually goes down to the cold mark. now i think this is the thermostat stuck open or another sugestion is the coolant is not diluted enough. but i was wondering if any of you guys have had similar problems

ive had this happen to me before... since we have such small engines its much harder for the engine to maintain its temp with all that air coming in... im not sure if it does any harm but it sucks because you loose your heat lol

between the heater and the bypasses on the thermostat there is enough coolant flow to overcool the engine the best solution i have found is to block off some of the radiator and maybe change the thermostat if you suspect its sticking open

Just changed my friends with the same problem, After take out we boiled/cooled the thermostat and it didn't close completely till 110F...Replaced it with a new 195F and it works great now at least yours doesn't stick closed ...Also remember to "burp your system after replacing the thermostat,....I could also be your temp sender, we had to replace that before too, there's a way to test your sender but I can't remember how ...good luck...Radd Guy...
