question..

hey everyone i am new to this forum.... i have a 1992 toyota corolla lsx sedan.... i would love to make it the ultimate sleeper.... now i am wondering what engine i could put in it, would a 5sfe fit into it ??? any information is greatly appreciated thanks...

Why a 5SFE?? I could see a 3SGE as it shares the same mount points as the 5SFE and actually there have been Corollas with 3SGEs before and even with 3SGTEs in them.. just curious why you chose the 5SFE though.

lol, i was just asking if the 5sfe would work, didnt mean i was gonna choose it lol.... so the 3sge would be better....and yes the ultimate sleeper, i am gettin sick of seeing hondas everywhere i go... i was considering a 240sx but they are beginning to be just as bad... so i am thinking of turning my corolla into a sleeper.... now does anyone have any links of where i could get a 3sge engine from ??? preferebly a canadian website.... thanks

He's a rich boy obviously.. multiply what you paid for your car by lets say 3 times and that's what the swap will probably cost you... plus install of course.

You'd be better off doing a 20V 4AGE swap, would be a lot easier and cheaper in the long run.

Its not that expensive, but who cares, you're gonna have a car that shits on almost anything. Add a huge ass holset turbocharger and you're pumping out closer to 400hp. time to eat some ferraris.
The engine isnt that expensive, I can find a 3S-GTE around the same price as you'd pay for a 20V

trust me i am very far from being rich, its just that i have saved alot of money... my buddy has a 1994 corolla with a 4agze engine in it running 11psi and that thing hauls.... would it be easier to put that engine in mine than a 3sgte ???
